Markio started with a simple observation: teachers spend far too much time marking and not enough time teaching. As an engineer with a passion for solving real-world problems, this felt like a challenge worth tackling.
The goal was never just automation - it was to build something that genuinely understands assessment, provides meaningful feedback, and respects the expertise teachers bring to their craft. AI has come far enough that this is now possible, done right.
